About ECNY
The Energy Coalition of NY (ECNY) is composed of seven investor-owned New York State electric and natural gas utilities, including Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation; Consolidated Edison Co. of New York Inc.; Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.; National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation; National Grid; New York State Electric & Gas Corporation; and Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation.
These companies provide essential services to residences and businesses throughout New York State, operating and owning most of the State's electric and natural gas infrastructure. Energy Coalition members are a vital part of the economic fabric of New York, employing more than 32,000 people, serving more than 8.5 million customers, and paying more than $3 billion in state and local taxes, assessments and fees. Additionally, Energy Coalition members contribute tens of millions of dollars annually to community and charitable causes.
